Updated Oct 2026 · how we rate brokers

When you email

Mail to [email protected] reaches an ordinary mailbox. The message is kept only for as long as it is useful - a correction thread stays while the page it fixed remains live - and we do not add you to anything or pass it on.

Request deletion of your correspondence and we will carry it out, telling you when it is done. The address for that request is the same one.

Where the line runs

General information about how licensing and trading work
That is what this site publishes
A recommendation of a broker, a pair or a position size
Not here, and not by mail
Anything adjusted to your income, debts or tolerance for loss
We do not know them and never ask
Advice as the CMA Uganda defines it
A regulated activity; we are not licensed for it

If you want advice, take it from someone the CMA Uganda authorises to give it.

Changes to this page

If the site starts doing something that touches your data - an analytics tool, a comment form, a saved preference - this page changes before that ships, not after, and the date below moves. What the site does today is what an honest privacy page describes.

The claim lies in the date, not in decoration: it says when someone last opened the built site and checked this page against it. Should you find something here the pages no longer do, or something they do that is not here, that counts as a correction and belongs at the address above.

What would make this page change

An analytics tool, a pixel or a tag manager
Page changes before it ships, not after
A form, a comment box or a login
Page changes, and says what the form stores
A saved preference, even a harmless one
Page changes: that is local storage
A new price or image service called by your browser
Named on this page, with what it sees
Nothing of the sort added
Page stays as it is, and so does the date on it

Everything above is checkable without trusting us: the storage and network tabs of your own browser say what any page here actually does.

This site keeps no visitor data

Shilling Desk sets no cookies. There is no use of local storage, session storage or fingerprinting. Not one page has an analytics script, advertising pixel, tag manager or social widget on it. You can confirm it by opening the developer tools on any page here and looking at storage and the network requests.

You will find no database with your name in it here, since we have no accounts, no logins and no newsletter. In cases where you have never written to us, we hold nothing identifying you.

How a correction travels
StepWhat happensWhen
1 · You writeThe page address and what the correct value isAny time
2 · We check itAgainst the public source you name, not against our own pageSame week
3 · The page changesThe figure is replaced and the page says it was correctedWith the date on it

A number is never quietly edited to leave the page looking as though it always said that.

Logs kept by the host

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, it keeps its own logs of the technical details of a request (IP address, time, the page asked for, the browser string) so that it can serve the page and keep the service up. Cloudflare carries out that processing under its own terms; we do not build profiles from it.

Some pages show a live price. The price is fetched by your browser directly from api.gold-api.com, api.binance.com, api.twelvedata.com and api.coinbase.com; it does not pass through us, and we never see it. Including your IP address, the request is visible to those services as it is to any website you visit. What led us to them was that they answer without an account or a tracking key, not a promise about your data.

Links that leave this site

Outbound partner links on this site go through an address on this domain that redirects to the broker and attaches a tag naming the page you came from. The tag serves to identify the page itself, not you, and carries no name, no email, no device id.

Their privacy policy, along with their cookies, governs anything you do on the broker's site, including opening an account, and there you are in their hands. Read it before you fund anything.

On this site the only advertisement consists of an image hosted here, on this domain, whose headline is plain text on the page. No request for it leaves this site and no advertiser sees your browser until you choose to follow the link, so loading it tells nobody anything.

None of it passes through us, and we build no profile from any of it.

Does this site use cookies?
No. No cookies, no local storage, no fingerprinting. Under its own policy, the broker you reach through a partner link does use them.
Do you sell data?
We have no data to sell. With no accounts, no forms and no analytics, there is no visitor dataset to sell, share or lose.
Who do I write to about privacy?
The same address as everything else: [email protected]. Make a request for your correspondence to be deleted, and that will happen.
